Our Story
RMA Engineering was founded to solve a problem that too many product creators face: the fragmented journey from idea to market. Most engineering firms specialize in just one phase — they'll design your product but won't prototype it, or prototype it but won't manage manufacturing. That disconnect wastes time, kills budgets, and leaves clients caught between vendors who point fingers at each other.
We built RMA differently. By bringing design, prototyping, and manufacturing expertise under one roof — with one accountable team — we eliminated the gaps that cause most product launches to stall. Reid Abrams founded RMA Engineering with a clear conviction: product development shouldn't be a relay race where the baton gets dropped between design, prototyping, and manufacturing. With a mechanical engineering background and years of hands-on experience, Reid built RMA to be the single point of accountability that product creators deserve.
Reid personally leads every client engagement at RMA. He has guided products through the full development cycle — from automotive components and consumer wearables to robotics systems and research instruments. His approach combines rigorous engineering thinking with a genuine commitment to client success, which is why so many clients return project after project.
